Partial conversation overheard between JR and his daddy this morning:
JR: We need to open the doors and windows to let the heat in.
Daddy: But that would let the cool air out.
JR: Yes, but God made me very special, and since I am special, I might get really cold when I wake up in the mornings and have to wear my robe. If I wear my robe I might sweat and get hot, so we need to not let it be too cold in the house.
Just for the record, we keep our house around 86 degrees.

That is so cute! Kids have the greatest logic, don’t they?
As an aside, you are a very strong woman to keep your house so warm! I thought we were doing great keeping it at 82 upstairs and 79 downstairs. Much warmer than 82 and I would go into labor from heat exhaustion (I don’t think you can go into labor from heat exhaustion, but you get my drift.)

I definitely didn’t keep it at 86 while pregnant! In fact, we lived at Edwards and bought a portable A/c unit that could cool whatever room I was in. Now, I get a little warm at times, but it makes it easier to handle the outside heat!
